Anita Natacha Akide (Born December 23, 1995), known professionally as Symply Tacha, is a Media Personality, YouTuber, Humanitarian, and a Serial Entrepreneur.
Born and raised in the Niger Delta region of Nigeria, Rivers State to be precise, Symply Tacha grew up in Port Harcourt City to which she earned the tag; Port Harcourt First Daughter.
In early 2016, Symply Tacha became a Social Media sensation after several of her videos went viral.
From 2015, She started her own YouTube Channel, where she posted Beauty tutorials, Story Times etc.
She went on to venture into a business as a Serial Entrepreneur to launch the “Everything Tacha” online store.
Anita Natacha Akide rose from being a Social Media Sensation to a reality star after being announced as one of the housemates in the 2019 edition of Africa’s biggest reality show, Big Brother Naija Season 4.
Being the only familiar face on the show due to her Social Media presence, Symply Tacha remained the most talked about Housemate during the period of the show and after the show, which made her
“The Media It Girl”.
Midway into the show, Symply Tacha who was known for her unhinged and unapologetic bold personality, amassed a legion of ruthless loyal fans that are known as “Tacha’s Titans🔱”. It became obvious during and after the show that her fans who are currently the largest fan base in Africa, mirror her traits.
Upon her exit from the show, Symply Tacha immediately signed a management deal with Billz Vizion founded by Teebillz.
In Mid-October, 2019, the 24 year old star became a brand ambassador to the biggest sunglasses distributor in Nigeria, House of Lunettes.
House of Lunettes reportedly sold over 2500 glasses in two hours after announcing Symply Tacha as their brand ambassador.
She went on to sign another endorsement deal with Getfit Technology, Nigeria’s most wanted wearable fitness solutions.
In November 2019, Tacha bagged a major influencing deal with one of the world’s most renowned Alcoholic beverage, Ciroc Vodka. She represents the brand in Nigeria, Africa for their Ciroc Circle Tour across Tier 1 Cities in Nigeria.
In addition to these, Symply Tacha signed a major endorsement deal with Royal Hair, the biggest hair brand in Nigeria.
She also signed as a Brand Influencer to Hype and Steam, a U.K high street online fashion store.
Symply Tacha’s influencing power has made her the most sought after brand in Africa as the announcement of her deals with these brands were featured in top newspapers, radio station and blogs all over Africa.
Anita Natacha Akide has gone ahead to bag several endorsement deals and partnerships with renowned brands like Getfit.Ng (The leading fitness brand in Nigeria), Tizeti (A company that provides high speed broadband internet across Africa), MyPaddi, Kuda bank, Villa games hub, Patricia,Konga, and Spedy Weightloss.
Her Multi-Million Naira Deal with OPPO Mobile Nigeria, signed in July 2020, set the internet ablaze with the catch phrase “OPPO or No Phone”.
Amidst the Multi-Million Dollar Partnerships, Anita Natacha Akide has emerged the winner in several award nominations.
In August 2020, She bagged Three Scream awards in the following categories: Brand Influencer of the year, Social Media Influencer of the year, and Fashion Brand of the year
She also emerged winner of Starzz Award as the Emerging celebrity of the year.
While on an international feat with the likes of Bonang Matheba, Symply Tacha won the Africa’s Choice Awards as Female Celebrity of the year and Brand Influencer of the year.
